Phase 2
With the basic structures in place the nitty gritty stage of construction could now begin. Unfortunately, the tradesmen that were supposed to do the cladding (Gyprocking) of the walls had to go to another job and could not finish their part of the job for over 2 weeks - great, that meant we had to find someone else that could.
After the arrival of approximately 100 square meters of gyprock the walls could be put in place

It might not look like much in this picture but that pile is actually quite high and with sheets only 10mm thick, that means a lot of work for our Gypie.
4 days later the pile was gone and the walls were up and ready to be painted

Well, there it is - all the walls and up, and 3 new rooms have been created…
The next huge task is to paint not only the new walls, but all the existing walls, most of the ceilings and all of the floor. That translates to over 500 square meters and that’s just the first coat…
